Among my many career accomplishments, I developed and franchised Deck the Walls, a picture framing and artwork concept. He grew it to a national chain and:
• Increased the number of franchise locations nationally from 8 in 1979 to 251 in 1986 in over 50 cities and increased system sales from $1.8M in 1979 to $53.7M in 1986
• Achieved 6 straight years of 14% average annual comp sales growth for franchise owners.
• Created a profitable Wholesale Sales division that generated $2.6 M in annual revenues.
FCCG and I were engaged by Beltone Electronics to expand its alternate/incremental channels of hearing aid distribution at wholesale and at retail. He was instrumental in executing a project management system that facilitated the establishment of an additional 100 non-traditional Beltone retail locations, generating cumulative incremental retail revenues of $26M for the Beltone dealer network and $8M in additional wholesale sales for Beltone.
Prior to the founding of FCCG , Maziarek spent 12 years as a Franchise Business Consultant with Luxottica Retail in the Pearle Vision brand where he:
• Developed and implemented plans that resulted in a 4% increase in comp sales of $19M, the best performance of all territories.
• Achieved wholesale sales performance for Luxottica brand products of 122% to plan.
• Was assigned a special project to “turn around” the $18.5 million Dallas market- improved comp sales performance from -8.1% to +5.5% in nine months
